Facilitated by Jen Liedkta
I had the privilege of a zoom call with Jen this am. How lucky am I to start my Friday morning with her? :)We chatted about faith, families, UMW (United Methodist Women) and her MLK Day Program. We will be working together to put a few “informational” videos together for you all but for now, please read this invite for this great opportunity on MLK Day. Join us on Mon. Jan 18 at 7pm via Zoom for an MLK Day program which will give us the opportunity to explore some of the many differences that exist between human beings and how they might cause us to view and interact with one another. A panel of individuals from different age groups and racial/ethnic/cultural backgrounds will thoughtfully guide us through an interactive conversation about these relevant concepts, supporting us as we grow our own awareness of who God made each of us to be. Both men and women are invited to take part in this opportunity which is being sponsored by COGS United Methodist Women. Please email Jen at jenliedtka@comcast.net to register.
Jen was sharing with me about one of the panelists and the insight she will be able to bring to the conversation. If you are looking to grow and expand your mind in the differences that exist and the privileges that affect us…this event is for you!
