COGS is hosting their annual Living Gift Market, which supports Heifer International, on Dec. 7, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Give the gift of life this holiday season by purchasing a share or an entire animal that will be sent to a person in need who can then use that animal for its fiber, eggs, meat or milk. We also have several community support offerings like biogas stoves, irrigation pumps and Send a Girl to School.
This year our COGS 2nd Graders are hosting a Milk Money Campaign benefiting school children in Tanzania. Our 32 students want to help 32 Tanzanian students by providing them each with milk for an entire year. We need to raise $2,304 to make that happen! We’ll be selling sugar cookies and FARM SHOW MILKSHAKES during the Living Gift Market on Dec. 7.
We also have 8 contestants competing in our Milk a Goat fundraiser. The 4 contestants that raise the most funds for Heifer International will then go head-to-head in a goat “milk off” at noon on Dec. 7. The contestant with the most milk collected after one minute will be crowned the winner. Donations to each contestant can be made in the Gathering Area.
In case you are not able to attend, use this online order form to make your purchases. Once submitted, you will be contacted to arrange payment and pick-up of your gifts. This order form will only be available until Dec. 10, 2019.
