Fall is a time of renewal, perhaps because our children, youth, and young adults are returning to school, perhaps because of the change of season around us with all its beauty transforming into an array of color, the harvest coming in, but here at Good Shepherd, it is a time when people are starting fresh in their various ministries, back from their vacations and summer respite.
One of the opportunities for fresh starts is in the manner people are able to serve in the many ministries available. Sometimes a person desires to move from one area to another; sometimes they are prayerfully taking a look to where God is leading them in their current ministries.
On the left inside the front doors of our church facility there is an acrylic rack which has lists and contacts for many of our ministries. If you are being called to serve in some area, please contact Pastor Lisa with any new beginning desires or changes you would like to make in your current service. We encourage every person to discover their gifts and ministries whether within the Good Shepherd or out in the community. If you aren’t quite sure what areas you are or can be equipped to serve, please consider taking one of the next PLACE workshops or see Kathy Zavadak or Pastor Lisa to renew your profile in the ministry at COGS.
