Easter Festival
Saturday, March 24, 2018
COGS Gathering Area
9 a.m. – noon
The annual Easter egg hunt is taking on a whole new look in 2018! Come for the whole morning to make crafts, have snacks, spend time with your church family and of course, HUNT FOR EGGS!
And the traditional egg hunt is getting updated to include allergen-free snacks and special prizes for the lucky hunters who find the specially-marked eggs.
Plus, this year’s Easter Festival will feature a Heifer International Marketplace. At our annual Living Gift Market in December, you supported Heifer International by donating animals to those in need. Now, further support recipients of those animals – recipients who turned their gifts into small businesses that make coffee, chocolate, caramels or fluffy stuffed animals. Take the items with you to fill your Easter baskets. We will also have shares of chicks, ducks, rabbits and sheep available, just as we did in December. Plus, there will be tables full of hand-made and donated crafts. All proceeds support Heifer International.
Schedule:
~ 9 a.m. – noon: Heifer International Marketplace + craft items
~ 9 a.m. – noon: FREE kids crafts, snacks and time of fellowship
~ 10 a.m.: Gather in the Sanctuary to begin the egg hunts (children separated by ages)
Children are welcome to partake in crafts and snacks before and/or after their egg hunt. If you are interested in donating food items, please sign up here.
