There’s nothing else I could say but…
Thank you so much!
As I sit here writing this article on 4/29, I am looking at a fundraising total for the 30 Hour Famine that I could barley imagine we could achieve, and we aren’t even finished yet!
197 kids who will receive food, education, medical care and more.
Raised by 11 courageous high schoolers.
Donations by more than 40 sacrificial givers.
I’m just going to say it – this is what the Kingdom of God looks like on Earth. It certainly isn’t the fullness of the Kingdom, nor is it all that we have to contribute, but it is the Kingdom nonetheless.
5 weeks ago, our high schoolers didn’t know what the 30 Hour Famine was and the hadn’t thought about world hunger much at all.
Now, they have changed the world by giving 197 kids a change to break the cycle of poverty. Thank you all for your kindness and support!
